  7.   The Computer Industry Almanac 1993 is an annual reference book for and
  8.   about the computer industry.  The 1993 and sixth edition is an 816-page
  9.   book that is authored by two experienced computer industry observers and
  10.   computer users - Karen and Egil Juliussen.  It is the most cost-
  11.   effective resource book in the computer industry.  The Computer Industry
  12.   Almanac has hundreds of thousands of facts that summarize the whole
  13.   computer industry. The paperback is $45 + S&H and the hardcover is $55 +
  14.   S&H. The 1994-95 edition will be released in June 1994.

  411.   Karen Petska Juliussen is Chairman and co-author of Computer Industry
  412.   Almanac, Inc. which compiles and publishes the Computer Industry
  413.   Almanac. The 1992 Computer Industry Almanac received the Computer Press
  414.   Association Computer Press Runner-up award in the nonfiction computer
  415.   book category. Previously, Karen was Vice President of Marketing for
  416.   Workstation Laboratories Inc., which specializes in benchmark
  417.   performance testing of PCs and workstations. Karen was also a co-founder
  418.   of StoreBoard Inc. and left in 1987 to dedicate full-time to the
  419.   Almanac. StoreBoard was sold to Computer Intelligence in August, 1989.
  420.   Prior to this Karen was with Future Computing, Inc. from 1984 to 1986.
  421.   Future Computing was an information service company specializing in the
  422.   personal computer industry.

  424.   Dr. Egil Juliussen is Chairman of Workstation Laboratories Inc., which
  425.   specializes in performance testing of workstations and personal
  426.   computers. He is also President of Computer Industry Almanac, Inc. which
  427.   creates the Computer Industry Almanac and does computer industry
  428.   consulting. Egil is a member of the advisory board of Corporate
  429.   Computing magazine, COMDEX and Sunworld conferences and writes numerous
  430.   articles in the computer press. In 1986 he was a co-founder of
  431.   StoreBoard Inc. which tracks the sales of personal computer products
  432.   through computer specialty stores. Prior to this, Dr. Juliussen was
  433.   President, Chairman, and Co-founder of Future Computing, which was an
  434.   information service company that specialized in product testing, market
  435.   research, for the personal computer industry. In 1984, Future Computing
  436.   was sold to McGraw-Hill. Previously, Dr. Juliussen was with Texas
  437.   Instruments Inc. where he was a strategic and product planner for
  438.   microprocessors, minicomputers, and personal computers. Dr. Juliussen
  439.   was also employed by Norden, a division of United Technologies, where he
  440.   designed graphics systems. He regularly writes columns and papers and
  441.   makes presentations, seminars and lectures in the U.S., Japan and
  442.   Europe. He received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical
  443.   engineering from Purdue University.
